Raise The Vibration Ecstatic Dancing Louisville Dance AllianceJoin us to raise the vibration in Louisville and the world through ecstatic dance. We welcome you to join us in creating a collective sacred space for adults to freely express themselves through dancing their prayers, exploring the depths and visions generated by dance, and celebrating the ecstasy of embodiment.
Inspired by the intention of creating a higher vibration in the world, we weave a sacred container in our city where dancers are free to traverse the landscape of their bodies, minds, and hearts. Experimentation is encouraged, as is play, mourning, connection, and solitude. This is a safe place to explore what is alive for you in the moment. Doors open at 10:30am. We begin with a brief opening circle followed by an hour and half of sacred movement (dancing, praying at the altar, stretching, or simply sitting quietly and connecting with the vibration). Our closing circle is followed by socializing, if you choose to stay. -This event is open to those ages 16 and older. -There will be no talking during the movement hour, though toning and other nonverbal sounds are welcome. There is space for talking before and after movement. -You are invited to bring sacred objects for our community altar -Please bring a water bottle. -We ask for a $5 donation to the cover expenses of using the space.
